What is ADR?

Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) is any method of resolving disputes other than by litigation.  Arbitration and Mediation are the two major forms of ADR.

In the family law context, another form of ADR is employing the services of a Parenting Coordinator (“PC”) to assist the parents. Linked above are specific details about each of the aforementioned ADR processes.
